FAQ
Can I sign my child up for more than one class or camp?
Yes, in fact, we encourage it. Each class and camp is completely different, so your child can enjoy them all without repeating activities!
+Who are the Crayola® Imagine Arts Academy™ camp instructors?
Our instructors tend to be artists, college students pursuing an education or art degree, former/retired teachers, or teachers on summer break. All of our instructors have experience working with large groups of elementary-aged children and have undergone an extensive background check.
+What is the child to instructor ratio for classes and camps?
The child to instructor ratio varies depending on enrollment. We always have at least one instructor for every 12-15 students enrolled.
+Do you offer extended care or late pick up options for programs?
We do offer late pick-up for our full day camps. The charge for this is $75 per week. Early drop-off is available on our full camp that start at 9:00 am. You can drop your child off from 8:00am -9:00am for no additional charge.
+Do you provide lunch and snacks during camp?
Snacks like pretzels and goldfish crackers are provided along with occasional "snack"tivities. If your child has any allergies or dietary restrictions, we ask that you please send your own snacks. Children bring their own lunch.
+Do you offer sibling or multi-camp discounts?
Yes - for camps that are registered through our website only. Use code MULTICAMP for in person camps.
+Do Imagine Arts Academy camps pose any physical risks to my child?
Since our camps do not include activities such as swimming, horseback riding, or archery, any physical risk would be the same as normal life. If an incident should occur such as a scraped knee, fall from a tipped chair, or bump of any kind it would be reported to parents with a call or a report upon pick-up depending on the injury.
+Are camps licensed by the State of Texas?
Our camps are not licensed by the State of Texas. Our camps have been exempted by the Texas Department of Health from licensing because our activities do not include traditional camp activities such as horseback riding, archery, and swimming. Our camps are a skills program which meets the exemption criteria under TAC 745.129 (2).
